This is what’s known as “Turnaround Tuesday”. The market will often reverse its daily trend following a Monday which continues the trend of the prior week. No idea why this happens, it just does.
I too shorted the MNQ in the morning, and was very frustrated to see the other markets soaring higher. So I took a loss, and then joined the party and rode the MNQ higher. Worked out well, thankfully . “If you can’t win them, join them”.
Is commiseration worth anything? Do I have what it takes to get funded? Well, up in /CL $580 at one point, and skillfully ended the trade with $40 (minus comm.) I carry on knowing what is possible. Bahati Njema.
I have been experiencing this for past 2 weeks. Gold curbstomped today. Tomorrow is another day!
