I know your frustration. Friday I was trading 5 lots on the MNQ. I was up around $900.00 for the day and I decided to trade ZB. One click of the mouse and my account was blown. I didn’t switch the ATM from the 5 lots on the MNQ to the ZB one lot. My account was blown with in two seconds.
Ouch… That sucks. ????

I too did an Apex account the last time on the discount. In my case, I was attempting to hit the target using bots on the $50,000 account trading micros. I didn’t blow the account, but because I intervened and pulled the plug on some bot trades that would have been big winners, plus some technical issues that caused me to miss a couple more winners, the account stalled out.
This time around, I’m doing the same account on this discount deal and I’m just going to let the bots do their thing, plus I’ll be running them on a VPS (Virtual Private Server) so there are no connectivity issues. Using some of those same bots, I took a small $3400 account to over $7000 in less than 2 months. It’s back down to around $6500 (was up big on 3 trades Friday that wound up breaking even on the pullback, darn it!) and I’m more confident of being able to hit the Apex goal this time around.

Brian, can you use bots that were purchased some where other than Apex?
What a bummer Mindie, to be so close! Thank you for your transparency and I look forward to hearing how things are going this time around. Starting from scratch sounds like a good plan. For me, I cancelled last month’s account before I was able to get it up and running, what with connectivity issues and just being too slow on my part to adjust to the Apex/Ninja ecosystem and rules. I am going to give it another try this month. I have to admit I already know I am going into this with just too much on my plate to be ideally focused. I wish you all well.
