To Scalp or to Hold…

That is the question.

One of these days I’ll get this sorted out… ????????‍♀️

Are you a scalper or a holder?  Let me know in the comments below.

By the way, I’m wrapping up 2021 with one last class on The Best Markets to Trade with a Small Account on Friday.

  1. HEIKEN ASHI CANDLES , TRY YOU MUST SUPPOSEDLY KEEPS YOU IN TRADE LONGER A BIT , IN THE CHART ABOVE , CHANGE TO HEIKEN ASHI SEE HOW IT LOOKS ..JUST A THOUGHT THANKS MINDIE ,

  2. There is no way to know whether to hold or take a small profit (or loss). A couple weeks ago I hed a short bean meal position and lost $5000, thinking it woud reverse. But last summer I held a long coffee position that was down $5K, and it reversed 20K in 3 days. I was able to capture 16K, for 11K profit. I usually use the 5% (or less) rule, once a loss is 5% of my account, I bail, no exceptions.

  3. I don’t think that I am one or the other. It depends on the day or what seems to be happening that day. Because of recent losses, I am going to practice with Micros until I consistently make $30 per day and then I’ll switch and try for $300 per day.
