The Course

Futures, explained by someone
who learned it recently.

I took my first trading course in December 2020 and placed my first trade the following January. Futures 101 is the course I wanted then, written by someone close enough to the beginning to remember which parts were genuinely confusing.

Lifetime access. Cheat sheet included.

Why This Exists

Most futures education assumes
you already speak the language.

You’re told to watch the tick, mind your margin, respect the leverage, and check the contract specs. Every one of those sentences contains a term that nobody stops to define, and asking feels like admitting you shouldn’t be here.

So people either quit, or they trade with a rough guess about what a tick is worth. The second option is more expensive.

Leverage is the reason futures are worth trading and the reason most people lose. Both facts deserve an hour of your attention before your first trade, not after it.

Inside the Course

What You’ll Learn

The Vocabulary, Properly

What a futures contract actually is. What a tick is and what yours is worth. How commissions work. What contract specs tell you and why you need to read them before you trade something new.

Leverage and Margin

The glory and the danger, in that order. How margin works for futures specifically, which isn’t how it works elsewhere, and how much of your account a position genuinely commits.

Day Trading or Swing Trading

How to trade futures around a full-time job. Which timeframes are realistic when you can’t watch a screen all day, and which ones will quietly punish you for looking away.

The Indicators I Use

Not a list of every indicator that exists. The specific ones I use, how I read them, and how I learned to make $300 a day with them. Your results will be your own.

What Others Say

On the Teaching

Mindie is great at taking complex information and making it simple and easy to understand.

Hubert Senters Professional Trader and CEO, HubertSenters.com

Mindie is an influencer in this field that I trust because of her authenticity and transparency. Without a doubt, she’s helped me become a more disciplined and profitable trader.

Candy Wakwe Options & Futures Trader

Thanks for an awesome class. That was great. Even having traded for a while, I learned a bunch of stuff, so thank you for your guidance on that.

Who This Is Not For

If you’re already making
$300 a day, skip this.

This is an introductory course and I would rather say so plainly than take your money. If you’re already trading profitably, the useful next step is either How to Get Funded if you want to trade someone else’s capital, or Peak Performance Trader if the problem is that you know what to do and keep not doing it.

Futures 101 is for the person who has decided to start and doesn’t want to learn the vocabulary by losing money to it.
