Disclosures
Affiliate relationships, risk disclosure, and how this site handles your data. Written to be read, not to be skipped.
Affiliate and customer relationships
I hold funded or evaluation accounts with the futures funding firms featured on this site, and I earn a commission when you purchase through my links or use my discount code. It costs you nothing extra — the code gives you the best offer the firm is currently running.
I only feature firms I trade with myself. If I stop holding accounts somewhere, it comes off the site. The recommendations on the matcher are ordered by which rule structure suits which kind of trader, not by which firm pays the most, and it will tell you when none of them fit.
Risk disclosure
Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. The valuation of futures may fluctuate, and as a result, you may lose more than your original investment. You should carefully consider whether trading is suitable for you in light of your circumstances, knowledge, and financial resources.
Most people who attempt funded-account evaluations do not reach a sustained payout. Industry data suggests the large majority never do. Treat evaluation fees as money you are prepared to lose, because statistically that is the most likely outcome.
Simulated and hypothetical performance
Per CFTC Rule 4.41: hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Since the trades have not actually been executed, results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact of certain market factors such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs are generally designed with the benefit of hindsight, and no representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
Funded-account evaluations offered by the firms on this site are simulated trading environments. They are not investment products and purchasing one does not constitute an investment.
Not financial advice
Everything on this site and in The Daily Rage newsletter is educational commentary. I am not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or commodity trading adviser. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument, and nothing here is tailored to your circumstances. Decisions you make with your own money are yours.
Accuracy and terms
Funding firm rules, pricing, and account structures change frequently — sometimes substantially, and often without notice. I deliberately don’t publish prices on this site because they would be wrong within weeks. I review the structural information roughly twice a year and after any major program change I’m aware of, but always confirm current terms on the firm’s own site before purchasing.
Privacy
The matcher on this site runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent anywhere, not stored, and not used to build a profile of you. There’s no opt-in on that page for exactly this reason.
If you subscribe to The Daily Rage, that runs through Substack and is governed by their privacy policy. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.
This site uses standard server logs and may use basic analytics to understand which pages people read. Affiliate links may set a cookie on the destination firm’s site so a purchase can be attributed — that happens on their domain under their policy, not mine.
